Video Content for Montblanc

Creative-led social video production for Montblanc’s official TikTok and YouTube presence

Working with Montblanc was one of the strongest examples of how visually refined, product-focused storytelling can perform at a high level even within a global luxury brand environment.

For this collaboration, I created a series of videos for Montblanc’s official social media channels, including TikTok and YouTube. The brief itself was intentionally broad. The only real direction was the world of writing culture — beyond that, I was given creative freedom to shape the concepts, visuals, and execution.

That freedom became one of the key reasons the project worked so well.

Instead of producing generic product clips, I built the content around the emotional and sensory side of writing: the movement of the hand, the detail of the nib, the texture of ink, the ritual of opening a bottle, the physical act of writing, and the quiet tension between object and gesture. The goal was not just to show the product, but to make the viewer feel the experience around it.

Creative Direction

The creative responsibility was fully on my side.

Montblanc gave me the thematic space of writing culture, but the concepts themselves were developed by me.

This included:

  • defining the visual approach
  • identifying the most engaging formats for short-form luxury content
  • selecting subjects and moments to focus on
  • translating fountain pens, ink, stationery, and handwriting into content that feels both premium and highly watchable
  • balancing brand aesthetics with platform-native behavior

The challenge was clear: create content that still feels unmistakably Montblanc, while also being strong enough to compete in fast-moving short-form feeds.

Approach

My strategy was to focus on micro-moments of fascination.

Rather than relying on overt branding or traditional campaign language, I built the videos around:

  • close-up nib interactions
  • ink movement and surface tension
  • ASMR-like writing moments
  • tactile hand-led gestures
  • minimal but high-impact compositions
  • strong visual contrast
  • instantly recognizable luxury details

This approach made the content work on two levels at once:

  1. as premium brand storytelling
  2. as highly engaging short-form social content

That combination is rare, and it is exactly where product photography and video become commercially powerful.

Why This Project Matters

This project is a strong example of what I bring to brands:

1. Creative independence

I do not need rigid art direction to produce strong work. When given the right amount of trust, I can develop the concept, mood, and execution in a way that is both on-brand and high-performing.

2. Product sensitivity

Luxury objects require a different visual treatment. I understand how to work with details, reflections, materials, finishes, and movement so that the product feels desirable rather than merely documented.

3. Platform understanding

A beautiful image is not enough. Social platforms reward clarity, fascination, rhythm, and immediacy. I know how to translate premium products into formats that actually perform.

4. Niche authority

Because I work deeply within the world of fountain pens, writing instruments, and craftsmanship, the content carries credibility. It does not feel like borrowed luxury language. It feels informed, natural, and precise., nunc. Morbi imperdiet augue quis tellus.

This collaboration with Montblanc confirmed something I strongly believe in:

The best-performing luxury product content is not created by showing the object alone. It is created by building a world around it.

When the creative direction is right, even highly refined products can generate strong reach, meaningful engagement, and memorable brand presence.

In this case, Montblanc provided the thematic frame of writing culture. I translated that into a body of work that not only aligned with the brand, but also delivered some of the best-performing content on their channels.
